Is this what being an adult is like?
Work is getting kind of stressful for me... A friend of mine basically told me that I wasn't doing anything else with my life, so I might as well move up the corporate ladder.
No thank you.
I'd be much more open to the idea if it were a company I was really passionate about. Not that the company I work for is bad, just not a career choice for me.
Weekdays are slow right now and my phone's battery was dead so, at least something came out of this extremely frustrating shift.

Reunited!
I went to visit my college roommate over the weekend! Talk about the best kind of vacation. It was sooo relaxing to not feel like I had to do anything. Usually I'm happy to be back in my own house, but the trip went by so fast it just felt like one exceptionally long day instead of four...
Anyway, I was greeted with the cutest gift basket I have ever received, complete with America themed basket.

¡Es una fiesta!
Wow, long time no post!
A lot's happened, all of my one followers (classyandadorable), but yesterday my high school Spanish teacher invited me to a party at his house with all of his family and friends.
Let me say this, those people know how to throw a party- that said, I made out like a bandit, my party favors being: a bag full of corn, a goodie bag (for the kids, but given to me), and a hat-load (literally) of candy.
His family wanted me to stay longer (longer than 9:30!?) but it was torrentially down pouring, the clouds had already rolled onto the mountain, and it was dark: cue a challenging drive home at the mercy of my GPS!
I had a fabulous time anyway.

Galentine's Day
One of the two (one being from my mom) Valentines I got today was from my old roommate, with the most perfect words a girl could ask for.

Authenticity
Today my friend introduced me to a place a little ways away from my house that's run by a Japanese family with delicious authentic Japanese food! The food's incredible and the taste is just like in Japan - plus the family is SO sweet (an added bonus)!
Sukiyaki for a cold day! The best~! ♡
